 Our own WINTER SUN desk model light box (WS5) is now on sale for $175 (plus shipping). This is our lowest priced bright light. It is a free standing, white metal box, 24 inches square, with two U-bent 5000 Kelvin bulbs, on/off switch, grounded plug, carrying handle, and plastic diffuser. Like all our products it is electronically ballasted for a steady, silent light. This one draws only 64 watts. Because it is larger than other models it is ideal for lighting a large work area. The brightness of this unit has been measured at 5000 lux within 14 inches and 2500 lux within 26 inches. The WS5 model is about the size and shape of a box fan and weighs approximately 17 pounds. |
